About Anne
Hi!
My name is Anne Boudreau and I'm an early years and outdoor educator currently living in Nagoya, Japan, and originally from New Brunswick, Canada. I am also the mom of a wonderful seven-year-old boy who is growing up in a very different world than the one I grew up in and, therefore, have a deep interest in the future of education and how we serve the children in our care.
I have spent the last 15 years traveling the world and teaching young children. I have worked in Canada, Indonesia, Kuwait, and Japan. My professional journey started in the IB Primary Years Program and then geared towards incorporating the Reggio-Emilia approach and more recently outdoor education.
After taking a ten-month sabbatical to reconnect with Japanese educators and further my understanding of outdoor education in the Japanese context, I have joined the early years' team at Hokkaido International School in Sapporo, Japan.
I love collaborating with educators and discussing pedagogy and the future of education. I hope you will contribute to the conversation by commenting and/or emailing.
Happy wondering!
Anne
